Our DWI or DUI attorneys counsel clients charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and driving while intoxicated (DWI). We may be able to help you keep your drivers' license, your vehicle, and to keep your insurance rates down through our careful examination of the circumstances of your arrest and our experience.

Know the system, know the process, know your rights
A DUI or DWI charge can force you off the road and land you in jail. If you are charged with DUI or DWI, you are in a serious situation. Our DUI attorneys will work with you to beat the charges so that you do not have to go it alone in court.

  • First, we will be at your side at every hearing, tending to the protection of your driving privileges, including filing a petition to rescind the statutory summary suspension of your license where appropriate under the law and facts of the case.
  • Next, our DUI attorneys will scrutinize your case by interviewing state witnesses, reading police reports, and analyzing your field sobriety and breathalyzer tests and any equipment used during your arrest.

Driver's License Implications
If you are charged with or convicted of drunk driving, there are consequences that affect your driving privileges. A DUI or DWI conviction comes with a mandatory license suspension. Also, if you refuse a chemical test for suspected drunk driving or driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, your license will be automatically suspended for one year. It is important to note that for individuals convicted of a DUI or DWI as a habitual offender, a mandatory license revocation may apply.

It is possible in some situations to obtain a limited driving permit from the Department of Driver Services. This limited license would allow you to continue to work, attend school, or travel to other required appointments as necessary.

  • In addition to handling DUI and DWI cases, we also represent clients in a variety of other types of traffic violations.

Contact us for a realistic assessment of your legal needs. We provide a free initial consultation, with availability during evenings and weekends by appointment. We accept credit cards.
